Swiss prototype track

CRISTALLO builds a small and credible micro/nano replication path in Switzerland.

A focused prototype effort around micro and nano replication: pattern design, first coupon demonstrator, and lab-based characterization with Swiss partners.

Current focus

First replication demonstrator on small test coupons

Base

Yverdon-les-Bains / Western Switzerland

Mode

Fast feasibility + partner labs

A compact bridge from compute to matter.

CRISTALLO combines simulation-driven preparation with shared Swiss lab infrastructure to produce a first demonstrator. The scope is intentionally narrow: patterned test structures, a simple replication path, and measured output.

Small first, real first

Build a serious foothold in micro/nano fabrication through a realistic first prototype rather than an oversized thesis.

CRISTALLO-01

A small coupon carrying a limited set of test patterns, fabricated through a simple replication path and verified by metrology.

Swiss lab fit

We are looking for the smallest credible process flow, the right access path, and a partner willing to assess feasibility.

4 moves before the June departure window

01

Frame the smallest credible prototype

Keep the story narrow: coupon, pattern family, replication path, measurement.

02

Open three Swiss conversations

PSI, EPFL CMi, and CSEM are enough for the first loop.

03

Package one short partner brief

A 5-slide pack is stronger than a grand manifesto at this stage.

04

Convert into feasibility

Aim for a first assessment, access path, or study rather than a theatrical funding story.

Where the conversation starts

PSI

Best opening conversation for a first demonstrator and process reality check.

EPFL CMi

Good target when the process flow becomes concrete enough to map to tools.

CSEM Neuchatel

Useful when the prototype needs an industrial or co-development translation.

Y-START / Y-PARC

Not the core lab, but a credible place to anchor meetings, address, and follow-up.
